Galveston Island in Texas, reopened on 9-24-08. I drove down there to get some footage, and was shocked to see the level of destruction. The mosquito’s were biting like crazy, but we managed to get some really good footage. Seeing boats on land was pretty surreal. I hope that George Bush and congress can release the money as soon as possible to repair this broken city….
